Beyoncé Rules the CMAs With a Surprise Performance With the Dixie Chicks

Beyoncé continues her 2016 awards show domination. After her knockout performance with Kendrick Lamar at the BET Awards and her 15-minute live re-creation of Lemonade at the MTV VMAs, Beyoncé raised the bar once again, this time with a surprise duet with the Dixie Chicks at the 2016 Country Music Association Awards.
It was no secret the country band was already a big fan of Beyoncé’s “Daddy Lessons,” since they previously performed a cover of it during one of their shows in Manchester. On Wednesday night, the trio and Bey delivered a fun mashup of “Daddy Lessons” with a full brass band and mixed in parts of the Dixie Chicks song “Long Time Gone” into their show. The pleasantly surprised audience went wild and cameras even caught Faith Hill mouthing along to the lyrics. Could the Grammys be up next?
