Kylie Jenner's New Eyeshadow Palette Matches Her Hair
Posted on 18 October 2016
Kylie Jenner just announced the latest launch from Kylie Cosmetics, and we all should have seen this one coming: a burgundy and rose gold Kyshadow palette that happens to match her brand new hair color. She's always dropping hints, that beauty mogul.
The Burgundy Palette follows her first eyeshadow launch, aptly called The Bronze Palette (it was all shades of brown and bronze). This one also has nine individual shadows, but this time around it's a mix of metallic and matte golds, coppers, taupes, and —of course—burgundy shades. The shades are: Naked (a sparkly champagne), Beach (a sandy nude), Penny (red-orange), LA (metallic copper), Burgundy (this one's obvious), Dubai (like Burgundy, but shot through with dark red glitter), Brick (a muted brick red), New York (a slightly darker version of LA), and Almond (brownish purple). On Snapchat, Jenner wrote that the new burgundy Kyshadow palette has "all the tools you need to create the perfect burgundy eye."
Shades of red, pink, and burgundy swept across the eyes was a huge hit on the spring 2017 runways, so this new palette comes at a perfect time. But let's be real: warm reds and pinks are also quintessential fall makeup—so you can start wearing the trend right now. The Burgundy Palette will officially launch on Thursday, October 20th at 1 p.m. Pacific time. Just like with all Kylie Cosmetics launches, if you're going to grab one, you'll have to act fast.
